The brackish waters of the little blackwater river have been locally renowed as great fishing grounds for generations, even going back thousands of years when native americans called the area home. Over time, the river has silted in making the bottom shallow and muddy and therefore only accessible by shallow draft vessels and kayaks. this kayak fishing adventure takes you into the nooks and crannies in search of several different species of fish, primarily the invasive snakehead. since this predatory fish entered the bay in 2002, it can now be found in every tributary and has become a very popular game fish. using traditional spin casting techniques we will target this and a few other fun to catch fish!
